Privacy Policy

Version 2.0. Effective September 22, 2026.

Brick Domain ("we", "us", "our") operates brickdomain.net and its subscription products, currently Domain Alerts and Domain Investing Tools. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. What we collect

Account information: your email address, your display name, and a hashed version of your password. We never store your password itself.
Discord information: your Discord username and Discord user ID, if you connect Discord so that we can send you alerts.
Payment information: billing is handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card number. We store your Stripe customer ID, your subscription IDs, and the status and tier of each subscription.
Your settings: the sets and retailers you track, alert thresholds, and other preferences you configure.
Gift Card Wallet entries: encrypted blocks of data that only you can unlock. See section 2.
Card reveal records: each time a card in your wallet is revealed, we record which card, the date and time, the IP address, and the browser user agent.
Security and audit records: sign-ins, password and email changes, subscription changes and similar account events, with the IP address they came from.
Usage and analytics: pages visited and similar technical information, as described in section 5.

2. What we cannot see

Gift card numbers and PINs are encrypted in your browser before they are sent to us. We store only the encrypted result, and we hold no copy of the key. We cannot read your card numbers or PINs, and we cannot see your passphrase, your recovery code, or the secret held by any passkey you register.

If you lose every unlock method, nobody can recover your cards, including us.

We can see, and do store, the fact that a card entry exists, when it was created and changed, and when it was revealed.

3. How we use your information

To create and run your account and your subscriptions.
To provide the features of the products you subscribe to, including collecting the prices you asked to watch and sending the alerts you enabled.
To take payment and manage renewals and cancellations, through Stripe.
To keep the service secure, to investigate misuse, and to spot unauthorised access to accounts and wallets.
To answer your support requests.
To understand how the site is used, in aggregate, so that we can improve it.
To meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers, and share with them only what they need:

Stripe for payments and subscriptions. Stripe receives your email address and payment details directly from you. See stripe.com/privacy.
Discord to deliver alerts to you. Discord receives the message we send to your Discord user ID. See discord.com/privacy.
Google Analytics for website analytics. See section 5.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. These are essential and cannot be turned off while you use an account.

We also use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies and collects information about your visit, such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the type of device and browser. Google processes this as our analytics provider and may combine it with information it holds from other sites. You can block it with your browser settings, an extension, or Google's own opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it, and you can close your account at any time. Write to support@brickdomain.net and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, or to complain to your data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

7. Children

Brick Domain is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
